The Atlas is a single navigation entry with a dropdown, containing World Building, the Moodboard and Research. The grouping is not cosmetic: none of the three is connected to the manuscript’s document tree. They store material about the book.
What is in it
- World Building is the Codex: fourteen categories of typed entry, linked to the prose by tagging.
- The Moodboard stores reference images and color, scoped to a book or a scene.
- Research stores links, facts, images and passages, filed against what they support.
Why the Corkboard is not here
The Corkboard resembles these three but belongs with the Outliner instead. It draws one card per scene, so it works on the manuscript rather than on material about it. That is the line the Atlas draws.
