Every session is recorded by day: the words added, the words removed, and the streak. A session can be assigned to a pen name and a book, or left unassigned for morning pages and anything else that belongs to no project.

It is yours
Your writing is yours, and exportable at any time
Nothing you write is used to train a model. There is no advertising identifier and no analytics SDK in the app. Everything you capture can be exported, and deleting your account removes it. If a subscription lapses, you keep reading, exporting and deleting what you already wrote; only new writing stops.

A fully licensed copy of Calamus for iPadOS, macOS and browser includes Calamus Ideas at no further charge, and what you capture on the phone appears in the book on your desk. There is nothing to subscribe to.
Calamus Ideas for iPhone is a separate app. Calamus itself is the writing and publishing application for iPadOS, macOS and the browser, and it is a one-time purchase with no subscription and no renewal date.
